不能确定，我是不是

Not sure if I’m the first delivery man

第一个跨进寺庙的送餐人

to step into a temple

大雄宝殿众神就位

The gods in the main hall

居高临下

Condescendingly overlooking –

只俯视着我一个人

there is me only.

这是一次绝好的机会

This is perfect timing!

如果我许愿

If I make a wish

必能额外得到提前兑现

It must be fulfilled well in advance

不用夹在长长的队伍里

Saving me from the waiting game

等待叫号

Sandwiched in the endless lines

像某些窗口前众多排队者中的一员

for the calling out of my number

可我并不准备跪拜

But I am not going to worship

时间在催

Time is my enemy

我还有许多单子需要及时配送

I’ve got too many orders to deliver

此刻，我才是菩萨

Here and now, I am the Bodhisattva

面对众多的许愿人

Many wishers are expecting me

这年头，还有多少人能写出如此真挚的诗？别说写诗了，还有多少人会耐心读完一首诗？

每一种语言都能写诗，在每一种语言里，诗都是最美的形式。
