第2043期：风来了，雨来了，xx背着鼓来了

标题是句儿歌，xx处有好几个不同版本，我见过“蛤蟆”、“姥姥”、“老鳖”，反正都“背着鼓”，形容刮大风时那个隆隆的声音。

我在写这篇的文章的时候，乌云密布，万马齐喑，看不出轮廓和形状的天空，不知还憋着什么坏水儿。

想起纳兰性德的一句词：“为问封姨 ，何事却排空卷地。又不是江南春好，妒花天气。”

“封姨”就是“风姨”，传说因助周伐殷，被封为风神，原名“风伯”，本名“姨”，故民间多称风姨、 封家姨 、十八姨、封十八姨，说的都是中国古代传说中主管风的神。

古希腊神话中也有主管风的神，叫 Aeolus（埃俄 罗 斯），下辖四个主管不同方位和季节的风神：

Boreas（波瑞阿斯）- the god of the North and winter 北风之神、冬季之神

Zephryos（泽费罗斯）- the god of the West and spring 西风之神、春季之神

Notos（诺托斯）- the god of the South and summer 南风之神、夏季之神

Eurus（欧罗斯）- the god of the East and fall 东风之神、秋季之神

这四个风神都向 Aeolus report，你可以认为 Aeolus是the head of wind gods.

Don’t be a windbag

英文里没有风神一说，但有个好玩的词：windbag，我总联想到西游记里风婆婆用的那个风口袋。

Windbag 是个贬义词，指的是口若悬河特别啰嗦的那种人，Someone who talks excessively.

“a person who talks much and pretentiously but says little of importance” (Collins Dictionary）

正常人都不希望让人觉得自己是个 windbag，不正常人满嘴跑火车，人间大炮一级准备。

这个词有点老，出现于15世纪，有很多近义词，如 chatterer, gasbag, blabbermouth, motormouth, babbler，反正就是话特别多，一套一套的，但都是废话。
