Not-to-do list

比尔盖茨的盖茨基金会(Gates Foundation)官网上有一个页面叫What we do not fund,列明了五类事他们不做(不资助):

Direct donations or grants to individuals

Projects addressing health problems in developed countries

Political campaigns and legislative lobbying efforts

   Building or capital campaigns

Projects that exclusively serve religious purposes

What is a not-to-do list?

It’s a list of things you will/should never do, no matter what.

Your weak spots for the things you want to say no to but somehow can’t 一切你一直想拒绝但总是无法say no的事

Everything that’s considered a distraction from staying productive

All the tasks that somehow regularly find you, but that you can delete, delegate, or outsource

   Other people’s responsibilities

Tasks that have a low impact on your value production (for example, small projects that are always in the way of the bigger ones)

All the tasks that emotionally drain you 一切破坏你情绪的事

The bad habits you want to eliminate

Stuff that simply doesn’t need to be done

Things that are out of your control

I will not stop writing because no one reads what I write.

I will not be pissed off by some idiots online or in real life.

I will not skip reading for any triviality.
