前天看到一个奇葩翻译，如图。
Pedestal pan这个词在英文里不存在，也makes no sense. 以我对这类公示语的了解，判断应该是“译者”把 pedestal toilet（坐便器）和 toilet pan（马桶桶身）强行糅合在一起生造的词。
- A pedestal toilet is a common type of toilet where the bowl is supported by a pedestal base, typically floor-mounted.
- A toilet pan refers specifically to the bowl component of a toilet, especially in designs like wall-hung or in-tank toilets.
