第1934期：三个 sisu

第一个 sisu

上海外国语大学（Shanghai International Studies University），中文简称“上外”，以前英文缩写为“SISU”，后来据说不能这样缩写了，因为SISU被另一个学校先注册了，因此上外的网址是：http://www.shisu.edu.cn/

上外建校于1949年12月29日，原名叫“上海俄文学校”，1956年更名为上海外国语学院，1994年改名为上海外国语大学。

第二个 sisu

四川外国语大学（Sichuan International Studies University），中文简称“川外”，英文缩写为“SISU”，网址：https://www.sisu.edu.cn/

川外1950年4月建校于重庆，原名西南军政大学俄文训练团，1959年更名为四川外语学院，2013年改名为四川外国语大学。

这两家大学都号称英文简称“SISU”，但川外的网址用了sisu，所以上外就只能用shisu了。

第三个 sisu

Sisu是一个芬兰语（Finnish）词，堪称芬兰精神的浓缩，很难准确翻译成英文，大致相当于stoic determination（坚韧不拔），tenacity（不屈不挠）, grit（坚毅）, resilience（韧劲）。
