第340期：troll army这才是水军的正确说法

大家都知道“水军”是什么，不解释。今天我们要学的这个词troll army才是“水军”一词的唯一正确说法。国内网上流传的water army是胡说。

Troll army是西方国家对俄罗斯官办网络水军的专有称呼，随着2016年美国大选后美国联邦调查局开始调查总统川普通俄的嫌疑及俄罗斯官办水军在大选期间对美国政治和民意的影响，这个词逐渐流行。

Troll这个词很有意思，本意是“钓鱼”的钓这个动作，引申为搜查的意思。作名词时，指洞穴怪兽，最近几年又多了个意思，特指在网络上蓄意发挑衅、挑事贴的人。各国网络上都有这个现象，例如挑动地域之争的，“不什么就是不爱国”之类的，现在国内网络上这类文字特别多，很多门户网站的新闻主贴下面的回复简直不能看。

用英语解释troll的这个意思就是：a message to a discussion group on the internet that someone deliberately sends to make other people angry; a person who sends a message like this

“水军”这个词其实在英语中有好几个别称：

The web brigades（网络兵团）、Russian bots（俄国网络机器人）、Kremlinbots（克里姆林机器人）、troll factory（水军工厂）等。

俄罗斯的官办水军由于对美国影响最大，所以英语中一说troll army，大多指的都是the Russian troll army.
