从今天起，我将开始一个新的系列：Great Sentences.

这个系列文章每篇都会很短，很简单，每期（不定期）分享一个我读到的好句子。

所谓好句子，如同好歌或好味，因人而异，难有统一的标准。我觉得好的，你不一定有同感。这无所谓，众口难调正是人间百味。

对这些句子，我尽量不过度讲解或分析，必要时，仅在紧要处点明我看到的闪光点。主要供你自己把玩、模仿和学习。

好文章不是华丽辞藻的堆砌，而是始于一个好句子，然后接着第二个第三个更多好句子，最后用一个好句子结束。

你平时可以多留意，一篇文章，一本书，最好的句子一般都是开篇第一句和结尾最后一句。

In my humble opinion, 好就好在最后那个long on… short on…的用法，大致可以翻译成“热情有余，经验不足。”

根据The Free Dictionary的注释，If someone says that something is long on one thing and short on another, they mean that it has a lot of the first thing but not enough of the second.
