一起 喝个大醉!

望着你们的剪影

我每天都流泪

How I wish to

be with you

to paint the town red!

Watching you in silhouette

I’d weep every time

从古代到清晨

从三更到关门

年轻总是不够用

拿来点天灯

From the ancient to that morning

midnight till the door closing

Youth is never enough

to light up the sky lanterns

人活着 常常后悔

走着走着 就断了魂

早饭时分

听说他们被判决为自由

五七百人上了囚车

隆隆开向砍头的台城

we all live with regrets

often while walking –

soul lost

rumors said they were all sentenced to freedom

Hundreds of them mounted the patrol wagon

rumbling and tumbling

toward the guillotine

我穿上大衣

一口气跑到山顶

午时三刻

刽子手刚唾了手

我却忘了带 

灯笼

I put on my overcoat

in a breath

ran up to the top of the mountain

’twas high noon

the headsman spit in his hands

but I forgot to bring

my lamp
