早上，从春困中挣扎着起来的老婆问还赖在春困里的我：春困英语怎么说？
今天我们就来聊聊这个问题。
春困是一种普遍的生理反应，中外皆然。这种困，是一种中文里所说的“乏(力)“、(困)倦、懒的综合感觉，不是简单的疲劳(tiredness, fatigue）。
从生理学上讲，人体感受到的疲劳大概分为三大类：
- transient fatigue 短暂疲劳
- cumulative fatigue 累积疲劳
- circadian fatigue 生物钟疲劳（熬夜到凌晨2点以后到那种感觉）
春困跟这些疲劳都不一样，不知是不是该算一种特殊的 seasonal fatigue？
英语中专门有一个词来描述春困这种感觉：springtime lethargy
如果你不认识 lethargy 这个词，发音是/ˈleθə(r)dʒi/。注意重音在第一个音节上。
我们来近距离看一下 lethargy的意思：
- Lethargy is a state of tiredness, weariness, fatigue, or lack of energy. It can be accompanied by depression, decreased motivation, or apathy. (Wikipedia)

Springtime lethargy 就是我们每个人在春天普遍感到的那种慵懒，不想起床，睡不醒，提不起精神，懒洋洋的状态。
Springtime lethargy refers to a state of fatigue, lowered energy, or depression associated with the onset of spring.
这种生理反应有时候严重起来很可怕，有可能发展成抑郁症。据统计，很多国家的自杀率都在春季出现一个小高峰，就跟这个 springtime lethargy有关系。
英语中还有一个词 spring fever，跟我们今天讲的 springtime lethargy意思相反，表示的是一种人在春天时蠢蠢欲动，春心荡漾的状态。
