Never say “How to say…”
They were told to stay at home before the test result comes out. It’s not isolation, but, how to say, home quarantine.
How to say
- It’s not isolation, but, what should I call it, home quarantine.
- It’s not isolation, but, what’s the word, home quarantine.
-
It’s not isolation, but, how should I put it, home quarantine.
-
It’s not isolation, but, I don’t know how to say it in English, maybe home quarantine.
- It’s on the tip of my tongue.
Yesterday I met… What is her name? It’s on the tip of my tongue. Joan. Joan Simpson. That’s it! Yesterday I met Joan.
-
It slipped my mind.
(What was I saying?/Where was I?) I lost my train of thought.
