第1447期：问世间疼为何物

据说疼痛的巅峰是生孩子，这个说法有点性别歧视，说的就像男人一辈子都体会不到什么是真正的疼似的。

我每次痛风发作时都想，哪个妇女能连续分娩五天五夜一刻不停？

又据说世间的疼痛可以分为四大类：

Nociceptive Pain 损伤性疼痛（外伤引发的那种疼，外伤。）

Inflammatory Pain 炎症疼痛（体内炎症引发的那种疼，内伤。）

Neuropathic Pain 神经性疼痛（神经系统紊乱引发的那种疼，难以描述，暗疼。）

Functional Pain 功能性疼痛（原因不明，就是疼，综合疼。）

人在世间走着一遭，大概就是来受苦挨疼的吧。那么脆弱无能的肉体，居然能搞出那么多毛病和花样。

如何衡量疼痛的程度有科学的体系，称为pain scale.

Pain scale有好多种，最直观的是下面这两种：

• Numerical rating scales (NRS)

上面说的分娩的痛感大概就对应表中第10级。

• Categorical scales

不管哪种体系，都只能大致标记疼痛的程度，止疼还得靠药物。

不知道上面列出的这些疼痛症状是按什么顺序排列的，但分娩和痛风（gout）之痛均榜上有名。
