在一本杂志上偶然知道了这首歌。词曲作者在黑龙江漠河一个破旧的舞厅遇见一位老人，老人的妻子在1987年大兴安岭森林大火中丧生，30年后，他还天天想着亡妻，就常常一个人去那家80年代破旧的舞厅独自跳舞，怀念曾经爱跳舞的老伴儿。
“《漠河舞厅》触及的痛点是无数漂泊于大城市的年轻人无法返回的故乡，以及无法返回的20世纪八九十年代的青春理想。”- 孙晓星《戏剧与影视评论》2022年第4期，总第49期。
