第1865期：我的考拉快 5 岁了
两年前的今天，澳洲政府正式把考拉列为濒危物种（endangered species）。

注意这则新闻标题中的 marsupial一词，意思是“有袋类动物”，如 marsupial rat 袋小鼠、marsupial mote 袋鼹、marsupial mouse 袋鼬、marsupial lion 袋狮，此外还有袋狼、袋貂、袋狸、袋熊等等。
袋熊（或“树袋熊”）就是考拉，学名没人记得住（拉丁语：Phascolarctos cinereus），香港一般译作树熊，新加坡和台湾译作无尾熊，大陆采用音译“考拉”，指的都是koala. 这几个译名都好萌。
英文中一说marsupial，指的要么是袋鼠，要么就是考拉，因为这两个物种是澳洲最有代表性的有袋动物。
